Mia Flowers, a senior at Gardena Serra High, won the girls 100-meter dash in a wind-legal 11.96 seconds at the California Relays at Long Beach Wilson High. Flowers also contributed to the Cavaliers' victorious 800-meter sprint medley relay that clocked 1:51.70. She also ran on the fifth-place 4x100-meter relay, which achieved a 48-second performance.
